The Miss Continental Pageant 1999 - 2000
The 20th Annual Miss Continental Pageant 1999 is fast approaching.
It is hard to believe that we have been producing this pageant
for nineteen years, and have crowned nineteen Miss Continentals.
The Miss Continental was started in 1980. The pageant grew from
the need for a vehicle in which the most talanted and professional
entertainers from across the country could present themselves
in a national competition. The process starts in November with
the first preliminary and proceeds until the last preliminary
is held in August. It is a long journey to make it to the Miss
Continental stage held every Labor Day Weekend in Chicago.
